John brings a unique career portfolio providing strategic leadership and management of operational activity in the voluntary, public and private sectors, and has been working in the field of infrastructure project finance since 2000 covering bid development, SPV operational management, debt financing and restructuring, and Board membership of project finance investment companies. With strong interpersonal, analytical and project management organisational skills, he has a track record of negotiating, closing and delivering complex commercial agreements with the public and private sector in the social, environmental and digital infrastructure sectors. He holds an MBA from Bayes Business School (formerly City University Business School).

In his spare time, he trains and regularly competes at a national and international level in the Korean martial art of Tae Kwon-Do and is a multiple champion and medallist.
