Andreas focusses on complex lending transactions in the (renewable) energy, (digital) infrastructure and resources sectors. Andreas advises on a wide range of financing structures as well as contracts and shareholder arrangements for the delivery of major projects.

Andreas represents sponsors, banks, infrastructure investors and companies on project finance and other structured debt finance transactions, particularly cross-border project finance, ECA covered finance, infrastructure finance and acquisition finance structures.

He works primarily on transactions in connection with promoting and implementing the energy transition and transition of the related infrastructure into a decarbonised economy.

Andreas studied law at the Universities of Muenster and Bayreuth and is a German law qualified lawyer. He received a merit based Postgraduate Endeavour Award from the Australian Government for his master studies at the University of Melbourne where he obtained a Master of Laws with a focus on the delivery and financing of energy, infrastructure and natural resources projects.
