From Natural Gas to Hydrogen in Germany
IPFA event hosted by Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer on Wednesday 13 July.
The tectonic shift in European geopolitics triggered by the war in Ukraine has taken energy transformation to the top of the German political agenda.
In this event, we explored the technical requirements and regulatory framework for adapting and converting Germany’s existing natural gas infrastructure to hydrogen gas, followed by a discussion of the resulting project finance opportunities both from a debt and an equity perspective.
